Bhagsu (March to November)

Bhagsu is a quiet tiny village close to Dharamsala in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh is known for its beautiful natural environment, peaceful, serene mountain atmosphere and plenty of temples. Most of the area is not accessible to vehicles, everything is connected by forest trails and stone pathways leading up the hillside. Far away from urban noise, this area is a wonderful place to meditate, focus on yourself while being surrounded and inspired by the spiritual atmosphere of this region making it a perfect place for you to learn the Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Dharamsala, India.

The altitude here is roughly in between 1500 and 2200 meters. Temperatures are moderate in the beginning of the season and will climb up to about 35 degrees Celsius in June.

Bhagsu is in walking distance to vivid McLeod Ganj, being the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile. Also referred to as “Little Lhasa”, it is the home of many Tibetans and a popular destination for (Buddhist) spiritual seekers. Even their Holiness, the Dalai Lama, resides here.

Village Dharamkot is marked by meditation and Yoga. There are quite a few good restaurants and cafes, as well as beautiful hiking options far away from traffic noise.
